With a disappointing defeat for Leeds United as we went into the October international break, manager Marcelo Bielsa would’ve been looking for a reaction once again this weekend as we welcomed Birmingham City to Elland Road.
Leeds ultimately edged possession again, but in terms of chances across the 90, it was a fairly level game really, but second half we made our chance count as Kalvin Phillips opened up a 1-0 advantage in the 65th minute.
We couldn’t add to that and the game (chances wise) was far more open that we would’ve liked, but three points are three points and we’ve still to welcome back Pablo Hernandez yet, so I guess we have to take the narrow win and just hope we can now build further on it and really get some confidence rocking.
